Macklyn felt rage as soon as he saw the weapons. He didn't so much care about what Eric was saying to his mate. They needed to hash that out on their own. He knew that it wasn't true, that his Eric was much more than what was being seen by the other. It was the guns that poked the bear.
Bran went down and Macklyn felt the sting of the bullet, though not as much as he knew Eric must feel it. He could also feel the confusion and bewildered state of being of his mate. The lack of knowledge on what to do.
There was no fairy there at the moment, Macklyn was all vampire. His fangs popped out and he was rushing forward as soon as the clips were emptied into his mate. He did not worry about Eric's state of being, even with Bran injured, there was no way he would die. The wounds would be healed up by the time that Macklyn got to the other, he was sure. Bran, well, Bran might need a little help perhaps, though the spirit had his own abilities and was also holding some of Macklyn's blood.
He tore the guns away from the phantom one at a time, but so fast that it was a blur. He tossed the first onto the ground, but used the second as a show of force. He twisted the metal in his hands, turning the firearm into a spike. He showed it to the phantom and then tossed it with extreme force away from himself. Macklyn did not watch where it went.
His hand was around the mirror's throat, digging in to the cold flesh. The strength he wielded was incredible, he'd seen examples of what he could do as the years went by. Right now though, there was only one thing that he wanted. His other hand went up to the phantom's shoulder, and he began to pull in two different directions. Macklyn brought the body closer and bit, tearing with his teeth. It did not take a terrific amount of effort on his part to rip the head right away from the body. The latter dropped to the roof.
For a moment, Macklyn stood there, unsure of what to do. He was holding the head of the man who was a mirror of the man he loved. He was unsure if the death was permanent. Or if Eric could heal even this.
