Eric nodded. They would figure out something to name the kitten. It would be perfect, too, when they came up with something. He would not name that kitten after the old cat. This kitten was different and thus deserved a different name. Something better and more fitting for them.
The hybrid turned and embraced his mate, pulling Macklyn close. He held on to the other, "You are an asshole, but I love you anyway."
Then he laughed softly, offering Macklyn a look, "Maybe you should take Selina's advice next time. She has to be worth more than her looks and perhaps this proves it." Macklyn had found something in the Cat worth more than her ample curves. If he couldn't trust her word then there was no reason for them to have anything more. They were supposed to be friends.
