"Oh," she said, "Well, let's get out of here, then. I'm sure Ms. Primm up there will be oh-so-glad to dismiss the demon child from her booth!" Rose waved her hand in the direction of the waitress and then made the universal sign for 'Check Please'. When the paper arrived, she snagged it quickly and asked for boxes while slipping a few bills against the paper receipt and handing it back to the woman again.
"I like the sound of this," she purred, suddenly too eager to get their food in the boxes that they were waiting on. She really did like the sound of that, especially the scenic route. Matt was so very careful with her, and so very gentle. The memory of his hands on her skin was enough to drive away any other thoughts that had been momentarily casting a pall over her.
"How about we get through dinner, first, and then see where we end up?"
