The pet store wasn't what attracted Logan, Giselle had beasts enough roaming about the cabin to need anything else to tend to. No. It was the familiar scent and the young woman at the other end that drew him.
Logan bypassed the door of his destination and stepped easily up beside Melody, pausing next to her. His eyes were for the rabbits, though he may have been watching her in the glass of the store window.
"Been a long time. You been okay?" He hoped she was at a point in her life before coming here that she remembered who he was. Or had at least heard of him. His reputation sometimes had the habit of preceding him, and though he was sort of iconic, Logan hoped that she knew him. It always made things easier when there was the lingering remnant of actual connection. Hope was a fleeting thing, though.
