The crone smiled at the other Viking king. Her head tilted as she watched and listened. Her attention shifted to the book which floated for a moment long before she gave a little wave and it floated away.
"If he wished you have nothing to do with me, I would not be here. You would not be under his roof. If you mean once he is gone, I believe the your being here again answers that." She nodded slightly. "But, he may have a strange bit of irrational anger, jealousy, and decide if he can't have me, no Eric can. Which I do not see happening." She liked this Eric, and there was always a possibility she wouldn't.
"We will have this discussion. And, he will be present." She sat up with a soft sigh, her dress clinging, but she didn't mind. She had about as much body issue as the man in the bath did.
"You are welcome in his home. You are his other self. If he has accepted you, then I will accept you. I know you at the heart of you anyway. I know what you are, and while any fool could find that information should he decide to use his intellect, I thought you may wish information on the only true stranger in this castle." She turned on the edge of the tub and started climbing out.
"Whether you are here for seconds, days, or decades, you have right to know with whom you share your home. It will make life easier, and perhaps you will find in me a curiosity. I do so like being a curiosity." She smiled at him as she turned back around. She crouched down a little, her face a little closer to his without being too close.
"Thank you letting me look on you." She leaned in and pressed a kiss to his temple. "You will find a snack ready for you when you are done. As well as the book." Her hand lifted, and with a flick of the wrist, the book was now once more in her arms.
