Even though she wasn't being nice, John responded to her words with a smile. He trusted her, no matter what. If anything she'd only craft him into a certain shape, and he trusted it wouldn't be something that would offend his maker. Even if she'd already done that once in his life, from a different creator.
He considered her words carefully as she described the feeding potential. She still seemed keen on affirming his human male pride, but he'd started to see the folly of that in the old world, and he was determined to show his sibling and father that he was letting go of the human weaknesses that had been holding him back. If he was retaining anything from his former life, it was his dedication, and the strength of will to prove himself.
"I suppose I should learn to hunt a man. Besides, he'd have more blood to give," he said, shrugging with an easy grin. He wasn't sure about the hunt, but it was the hesitency that made him want to overcome.
He nodded, enthusiasm paling slightly at her caution. Then he smirked slightly and pulled her hand up to kiss the knuckles.
"I won't let anything get out of control. I'll ask your advice before exciting a necromancer, I promise," he said, lowering their hands back to normal level.
