When he said the name of the tea she liked, Peggy looked over her shoulder at him. She beamed, and lifted her hand up toward him. It was a silent invitation into her apartment. Steve was, if nothing else, respectful. There were so many things about him that were just as antiquated but that's what she liked most about him. He wasn't afraid to stick to what he knew. He never had been.
She returned her attention to her apartment and when he was at her side, she leaned a little bit against him. "At least it feels more like home. But I suppose I will just have to catch up to the rest of civilization." She knew she could count on Steve to help her along and she would try not to be too hard on him.
A sigh, and Peggy turned to look up at him. "Would you like to come by for dinner tonight? You are welcome to bring Sergeant Barnes, as well. I would imagine you two are still as close."
