Steve adjusted her arms, settling them around his waist as not to impede his shoulders. He drained the last of his tea and tossed his cup into a trash can, then started the engine, setting the bike purring underneath them. He pushed off the ground with familiar ease, enjoying the thrill of being able to ride, just as he always had.
It had been a dream for most of his young life, riding a motorcycle. Ever since he'd seen his first, Steve had loved the idea of them. But he had never had the strength or balance required to tame one of the machines.
The serum had changed that, like it had changed so many other things.
Even taking the scenic route, they were back at the apartments in what seemed like far too short a time. Oh, well. Once Peggy had gotten a chance to see her apartment, he could take her back out for a more detailed tour. Maybe he would introduce her to pizza.
He parked just outside the walkway to the Agreeable Apartments, and shut off the bike, holding it steady for her to dismount.
