It wasn't as though he would use it. He didn't need sleep, or to rest. That was one of the downsides to his condition, a restless immortality. So his mindset was on her purely, since she would be the main one utilizing about everything in the apartment. It came as a surprise when she changed her mind so abruptly, evident by the way he glanced up at her. But that choice wasn't his to make. He pushed the bagged linens back into the vacant spot on the shelf and followed her away.
The nature of her search was almost amusing to him. Her face no longer held delight but had taken on a mask of seriousness. He was curious about it, wondering why she had so abruptly done an about-face when it came to color selection.
