There was no doubt that she brightened at the idea of the wall mural. She'd never painted a mural before, but how hard could it be? She knew exactly what she wanted to do, and her thoughts started planning what she'd need to do it, as Logan shrugged. Her smile faded to a quiet 'O' when he explained that the gym wasn't meant for everyone.
"I understand," she said, giving him a secret smile. "We wouldn't want anyone to feel left out, of course, but..." Then the smile bloomed again. "But I would love to have a private celebration with you instead." In fact, she'd much prefer that over a grand celebration, even if there were a time and place for such large parties. Even more plans formed in her mind, and even more things to gather and to do began to organize themselves into lists.
Her eyes widened, then, and she realized... "We're going to be spending the whole day together," she said, the delight evident. Was it the first day they'd spent like that? Not truly. But every day when this happened was a good day.
