They'd both learned fairly early on that caffeine and Giselle were a potent combination. She didn't do well with the strong taste, but if it were a little more than half milk and included a lot of honey, she enjoyed it quite a bit. More than one cup, however, had her too energetic for most any civilized conversation, and she and Logan both avoided that after an incident with the curtains.
The curtains were all right now.
After all the preparation she'd done, breakfast was ready within 10 minutes, to her absolute delight. Breakfast, Giselle thought, was the best part of the day. She and Logan were able to spend time together before the rest of the day got in the way, and she got to know a little more about him every time they talked. By now, Giselle was quite convinced that he might just be one of the best people in the City, though she'd never told him her suspicions.
Because of who he was, he might just try to convince her otherwise. Giselle beamed at him over a fork full of eggs.
