When Logan stepped into the kitchen, Giselle practically lit up from the inside. She clasped her hands and beamed at him. "Oh, good morning, Logan! Isn't it a lovely morning? I'm ever so glad you're awake. I'm making us rosemary potato coins with fried eggs, apple-spiced sausage links, tiny little pancakes with baked cherries on top, and oh -" - she reached over and pressed the button on the coffee maker - "- double-strong black coffee, of course."
That wasn't half of it. Primed and waiting in the fridge was strawberry yogurt, fresh milk, and a good amount of freshly picked berries of all sorts. She didn't tell him, though, because she didn't want him to think that she was going out of her way.
