Ariel shook her head at John when he asked if she was human, and she laughed. Her laughter was a muscial opus on its own, a sound with its own distinctly beautiful tone. "Mermaid," she beamed, offering her origin as if it were nothing more than mere conversation. She did exclude the fact that she was of royal blood. That didn't matter to her. She was no better than anyone else.
"Thank you!" Ariel breathed, pulling John gently after her with her curled arm as she crossed into the shop. Instantly her eyes swept the shelves and the walls. There were so many curious things! "Oh goodness..." She said with a blink. Where would they start?
"What is all of this?" She tugged John eagerly to a set of chimes and lifted her hand, brushing her fingers across them. They chimed brightly and she grinned. "Beautiful."
