Eric held on to Macklyn's hand as they approached the house, offering his mate a nod. Eric would show Macklyn what he had been up to, but it could wait a moment longer. "Trust me, it wasn't anything special. Except now my double knows all about you." Which might be dangerous. Who knew?
He crossed the threshold into their new home, taking his time to look at everything. The sword came from his hip and was leaned casually against the corner of the foyer by the door. It seemed inappropriate to bring it any further in as it's presence would be temporary.
With that burden gone, Eric sank easier into the atmosphere, tugging Macklyn into the living room and over to the lump of a recliner. "That has certainly seen better days," he remarked, before offering Macklyn an amused look.
"It's beautiful in here, really. I love the floors." He had always liked that wooden look. It was rustic and charming.
Then he turned and took Macklyn's hands, held them and showed him everything about the meeting between himself and the double. When he was done, Eric continued to hold on to Macklyn, waiting to see what he thought. "You might go see him yourself if you get time. Say hello. Might be worth the visit."
