Not just her. He'd made it, too. And he was here, not in some other world starting over, not in his original world, picking back up where he'd left off... He was here. He remembered her.

For a long time, she was content to keep her arms around him and her head on his chest. Every so often, she'd tighten her arms. They'd have to move, she knew. They needed to... probably not just... stand here...
Safe. Here. And it'd taken Aidan finding her for her to realize it. In the back of her head, Peter was really happy for her, and he was actively trying not to overhear, and she laughed a little again for all of that. The realization that her shock and happiness was spilling out from her own mental borders and into Peter's was enough to get her to take a breath and finally (finally) step back. She caught Aidan's hand before the distance was too much.
"Come on, then," she said. Her face looked different. True freedom changed everyone. "Let me show you around."
