It was ready to be seized and Selina wasn't going to ignore the call no matter how much she might want to. No. But she wouldn't let herself stray back into any of the local drinking holes for a while either. Meeting Pam was thrilling, and the bite...well, it was accurate to say that Selina had never felt anything so powerful, overwhelming and utterly seductive in her entire existence. Just the mere glimmer of a thought had her body craving the experience, and that was an unhealthy habit to pick up. She knew it.
So she would find a distraction or two until something else captured her attention and she could focus again.
The day was what drew her out. She was dressed appropriately, a tight black v- neck tee-shirt emblazoned with the familiar Bat symbol on the front clung to her. It was a constant reminder of Gotham and about all she had left of the town. Her dark hair hung loose and waved as she walked. Dark washed skinny jeans wrapped tight around her long legs, and accentuated those ample curves. The knockout theif was feeling casual and had traded her usual heeled boots for a simple pair of black heels.
The walk in the sun down the street was relaxing.
Her feet carried her clicking down the sidewalk, past a few sitting areas attached to cafes and places to hide. But it wasn't until she cast an absent look at a man sitting beneath one of the parasoled tables did something hit her hard enough to make her stop. Where she had ended up was far enough away so that her back was to the man. She would have to turn to look at him over her shoulder.
Which is exactly what she did. Her eyebrows were arched upward. She had to be seeing things.
