"A stranger, yes. Though stranger no more. She is Selina, and she is a thief. She is human." A hint of disappointment might have slipped into the petite vampire's tone. She knew logically that finding Melody had been a fluke. Finding a human with some special ability was rare, and claiming said human even more rare. They usually were not susceptible to glamouring.
"You shouldn't feel any ill will toward the woman. She only wanted to walk on the dead side for a little while. Perhaps see just what I could do to her. Adrenaline junkie." Pam understood the need for a thrill, but even she had her limits. She wouldn't go too far to enjoy herself, which was probably strongly tied to her need to survive.
"Do you wish to feed on someone else?" Pam could and would be pragmatic about it. The woman did need to feed, and it seemed only fair that she be allowed to taste another as Pam had. They walked on in silence before she decided to speak again.
"I do not feel Pastor John here. Do you?" There was some concern. "Or the nurse known as Aidan?"
