"Depends on how quick you think you'll be." Zoe shivered with the kisses, certainly not pushing him away. Jesse had been a surprise for her, or more a transition. She'd never thought she'd find someone else to love, not like the way she had Wash. Truthfully she didn't love Jesse exactly the same way, that would be impossible, but there were things about them that spoke to her in the same way.
Once she faced him, she reminded him that she was certainly just as interested in making up lost time as he was. Her arms wrapped round his shoulders, and her lips claimed his. It promised more than what they could do between placing the order and receiving it. A hint of hair tug and a rake of nails at the back of his neck suggested she was going to need to be very aggressive, but he knew better than anyone, the warrior woman didn't always need aggressive or overly physical. He knew that she'd need just as much time being held and caressed. Being taken care of. This just wasn't the time. Before things could go further though, she broke the kiss and really answered his question.
"Long enough for us to get a quick tumble, a quicker shower, and find your cigarettes if you really need them." Finding cigarettes really wasn't an issue for a man who could probably summon them on a whim, but that time could be put to other things. The firm grab of his rear end said as much.
