At the nudge Eric couldnt help but smile just a bit. She reminded him of the darker haired Leeloo, the version that Eric was quite close to. Playful yet powerful. Perfect. He wouldn't argue with her. The matter was unimportant, and even if there was another Eric....well, let's just say that he would know the exact way to get rid of another should that need arise.
Then the smile faded at her next words, and he shook his head, "It's not a gift. Far from it. I help where I can because it's the right thing to do, but it's not a gift." He wasn't thrilled with being the animated corpse, which was mostly how he considered himself. Trapped between a zombie and a vampire, none of the weaknesses of either species, and without the insatiable urges.
