Weakness was not something anyone likes to show, Eric least of all. But it was not to be helped in the present situation. For everything that he was good at, this seemed the only challenge to that. And over something he had no control over.
His fingers curled easily with Leeloo's, and his feet moved with her own. It wasn't often he allowed anyone to lead him, but Leeloo was different from the normal ways of the world. There was something about her, orange hair or brown hair, that captured his attention. There was no straying, no denying her simple request. And so he followed her to the park and the open bench.
It was at this bench that Eric listened to her explaiation, every word. He knew she wasn't lying to him, why would she? What benefit was there?
Eric shifted some, absorbing what Leeloo had told him. Alternate timelines. Loving someone that wasnt Leeloo. It sounded like a dream wrapped in a nightmare. He couldn't imagine wanting anyone besides her....and yet he knew her words to be true. How, he wasn't sure, but he did.
And she was right about Peter. He did need Leeloo. He needed her more than probably anyone else knew.
"Peter..." Eric began, unsure of what exactly to say. She needed the truth. "You mentjoned alternate universes. Peter is here. He's in apartment number five with the other version of you. She has dark hair. I know her by Lee, and that is his true love. It's where his heart is."
