Leeloo's expression softened when he admitted he was confused. She'd never, ever seen Eric show any form of weakness, and she found it... endearing.
"Come with me," she said, reaching for his hand in the same way she'd have reached for Peter's. "We will find a good place to talk."
And, as it turned out, there was a park just across the street. Leeloo didn't know what a park was, but she recognized the benches for what they were - a place to sit - and she liked the way the moonlight hit the sea of grass within the confines of the metal gates. It reminded her of dino island.
"There was another world," she explained, piecing together the things she'd learned from Peter in a way that would make sense. "With alternate histories - alternate timelines. Peter came from one, and I came from another. He already knew me - from the one he'd been to before - and so did you. Perhaps not you. But you. You - not you - also loved a fairy named Ben. He was very kind. I hope he made it here, too. I wonder if the Eric I know is here, too."
She kicked her feet as she sat on the park bench. "Eric said that you and he were the same as me and Peter, but I don't think that's true. You and Ben didn't seem to need each other; you just wanted each other. Peter..." Leeloo trailed off, then stared toward the street. Then she shrugged.
