Peter was well aware of her role, her reason for having been created. She was the Fifth Element, of course. But that didn't matter - she shouldn't have to die to fulfill that role, no matter what anyone thought. And he wouldn't prevent her from doing her duty. But he would be there, her stalwart shield, to protect her.
At the order, he smiled lightly. No, she didn't have to move. He lifted her into his arms, getting up from the chair and carrying her to the bed. He drew back the blankets with telekinesis, and settled her in first, crawling into the bed against her to wrap himself around her. Sleep. Sleep would be good. He would be lulled to sleep by the scent of her at long last.
