Maleficent had an idea that what Evey was speaking of was not the sort of place she was used to. In her own home, cities were the spaces around a castle, the homes and shops of the little people. The fairy did not think that Evey meant this.
"I see." She said, instead of voicing her thoughts. Her strange eyes blinked, and she tried to think of something else to say on the matter. The city itself was troublesome, as was the apparent move of the island. What they would all do, what it all meant. Beyond that, though, there was a more pressing matter.
"You, Evey Hammond, do not seem entirely pleased about this change of events." She lifted a brow, her surprise clear. "With a city, food, shelter, the people you swore to protect are safe. Should you not be happy?"
