It didn't. The angel spent longer considering the cups in his hand than taking the task, and he tended to move very quickly without going noticed, even when not teleporting outright.
He settled into the seat across from Peter, and placed one of the cups before him. His own he placed directly in front of himself, and he watched the water calm without taking a sip.
"You spent your last money to feed a stranger," he said after a moment, looking up to the other. He didn't know what that said about the other. He didn't necessarily trust his own intuition, even if he allowed himself to relax slightly around the other.
