Castiel stopped and watched the other. There was a familiar way about him. He reminded Cas of Dean. Not in terms of being large, brooding, or antagonistic. This man wasn't any of those things. But he was confident, and under it all, kind hearted. That much was the same. Also the leadership, and the natrual charm.
Castiel watched him order, then shook his head. "A glass of water," came out of his mouth instead, but it wasn't the first time what he said was more honest and unexpected than his mind.
