Edward laughed softly, eyes sliding open to peer tenderly at his lover. "Nobody said anyone was asking for permission, darling." It was a tease. Eddie would take the offer if it was given, or do without if not. But he hoped they could reach an agreement on the first and not the latter.
"I don't feel any different, and I don't remember being gone at all." It was strange because he knew Jonathan wasn't bluffing. He wouldn't be acting that way if the words weren't true. So Eddie knew that the City had taken him. But then how many times had it taken Jonathan from him, too?
"You'll never truly lose me baby, I'll always be lurking around some where," Eddie said in a mumble, long fingers once more massaging slow circles against the curve of Jonathan's hip.
