The chocolate, Evey understood. Their world had not had chocolate. She was fairly certain it didn't have turkeys either. It'd had cheese. It hadn't had dinosaurs.
"That's chocolate," Evey explained gently. "It's a candy. Break off a piece and put it in your mouth. Let it melt or chew it - one or the other. I usually suck on it as it melts; it lasts a little longer that way."
"Dinosaurs?" she asked Peter silently, with no small amount of surprise. She didn't show it to Leeloo, who not only had orange hair, but also spoke far more elegantly than Evey recalled. Evey was also remembering the echoes in their heads - hers and Peter's - just as they arrived here. "What's going on, Peter?" Evey asked, feeling trepidation edging through her.
