Rose reached into his palm and touched the keys he pulled out. "You too, mm?" she asked quietly. And then, with something of an awkward laugh, she answered him -- answered what she could, at least.
"I found my flat in London -- well, not mine. My Mum's. S'where I lived before going off with the Doctor around 19." She rubbed at her forehead and laughed a little, shifting her weight from one foot to the other. It was strange to talk about that part of her life. It didn't feel like her life anymore. "Mum's not there, so.... so it's really just a flat, now, I guess. But it... The keys were in my pocket when I arrived here. This feels an awful lot like when I was first pulled into that dying world -- before the island where we met. Feels like a break in reality again."
She didn't know if that's what it was, but so far that's what'd been happening. She was tired of it. She was tired of all of it. And why was her mum's flat here?
"You wanna go find your office?" she offered tentatively.
