"I'm a man, just like you," he defended himself. "It was...biology!"
He crossed his arms firmly around him.
"To remind you, it wasn't my libido that distracted me from my meditation," he added at the slight. Abe wanted to leave just as much as Dean wanted him out. But he'd never been in this situation before and trying to focus on where his body currently was wasn't working.
Abe, being taller than Dean both in life and in dream, it seemed, easily looked over his shoulder.
"A clue? A scavenger hunt like in the books. I've never been privy to one but I recognize the directing. Well. Knowledge comes from many places. I prefer books. So maybe it is referring to a bookstore or a library similar to Beauty's before she...left. Or perhaps a newspaper stand. Though it does use the colloquial 'check out'. So my leanings might be more toward a library. Beauty's was a private library so books weren't checked out from there.
"The City has a library. Do you think it refers to that location? Or perhaps the bookstore? I believe Beauty worked there," he said, his mind having been on Beauty a lot lately. Her absence had troubled him.
