"Good morning Maxine! How are you? Here, let me help you!" he said enthusiastically as he got up.
Wash's arm blocked him.
"Nope," he said, not looking up, seething.
notWash hesitated but sat down in the nearest seat looking mildly confused.
"You already jump like a frog, monkey. Why d'ya need to learn?" Wash said holding in all of his fury with a thread thin metaphorical rope. "Need some help fixing breakfast?"
"I'm not sure if...frog jumping is exactly...good curriculum for a successful future," notWash protested.
"I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter what you think," Wash replied with a stiff grin. "Mighty Max, you need anything too high for you, you tell me, k?"
