She could swear like a sailor if the situation called for it, and she didn't have much time for anyone who was bothered at the idea of a petite blonde with a mouth on her. Those same people tended to think that she was better off waiting at home while the men did all the monster-slaying.
She considered what else to tell him, since he'd asked about her. Preferably someyhing that didn't sound like your standard blind date spiel.
"I've been here two years," she said. "Seen a few people come and go in that time."
For just a moment, the grief crossed her expression, but it was gone as quickly as it came.
"I run one of the bars in the City. The Roadhouse. And men who save my life get the first drink on the house," she said with a smile.
"What about you? What did you do before you landed here?"
