Wherever they go when they go. Sam still had that piece of paper from the City in his pocket. He wasn't sure why he was carrying it around, but there was something about him that really wanted tangible proof of that promise. For all the good it would do. He'd seen the aftermath of his brother losing him and he'd seen that Dean was happier than he'd ever seen him here. That might not be saying much, given what they'd left behind. But all the same, there was more stability in this place and in what Dean had found with Dinah than Sam had ever seen his brother find. He really wanted all of that to just keep.
"Jack... Heart? What was he-a male prostitute?" Sam couldn't help but laugh a bit at the name. It sounded ridiculous.
It was at least easier to laugh about that than to think about the uncomfortable idea that the City had just taken people to feed off to help it repair itself, for lack of a better way to describe it. He truly didn't like that feeling. Anything that could take someone with the powers of God...
Not to mention that he'd liked Jesse. The God was a decent guy. And he'd only met Jen once, but he'd liked her too.
He wanted to ask about how Dean was doing with all that, but now wasn't really the time to talk about their 'feelings'. Not while on the job. Maybe not even off the job. It was an awkward sort of thing for them, even if they did both try.
