Logan didn't know anything about Effie's past, so all he could do was shrug, "Ya gotta prove yourself as a hero to be one, and unfortunately Avengers don't take just anyone. Trust me. I've been on this Earth longer 'n most of 'em and they just now asked me. Don't feel too bad. Ain't Stark's choice anyway, he ain't the one runnin' the place." Rogers was technically the leader of the Avengers, Stark was the flash.
"Trust me, men ain't the smartest breed. Sometimes they miss what's right infronna their noses cause they get so used to smellin' the power. I ain't wastin' my time on all o' that anymore. I been there. Ain't pretty. Better now," Logan replied. Women could fall victim to power, too, but at least they could get focused.
"Funsies?" Logan inquired, chuckling at Effie. "Ain't nothin' I do fun. I just do what I need and be done with it. I can't remember the last time I went out to have fun." Besides messing with Scott back at the Mansion, Logan couldn't recall doing anything recreational for fun.
