"Only if it is murder." Charlie said rather matter of factly. As if it were the way things were, as if he didn't have any other choice in the matter. He pulled out a chair for his visitor before gathering two wine glasses and a corkscrew.
"Is it?" His head tilted slightly as he seemed a little curious. He was in a way. He smiled at him and set the glasses on the counter.
"Want me to open it?" His hand was held out for the bottle. "I can open it." He did like to be helpful, and sometimes his helpfulness wasn't all that evident.
"Thanks for coming, Jo." Usually that was said at the end of the evening, or right at the beginning. Charlie wasn't the usual type.
