He immediately put a gloved hand on the parchment, careful in his handling.
"I did get a sense it was alive, though I wasn't sure until it was confirmed by the first person I met here. I can...feel emotions of others. I sense emotions as if it were a smell or a sound that no one else can hear. Sometimes, if I close my eyes, I can feel something very large. Knowing that it took the shape of a man...that is very interesting, indeed.
"I have researched beings before that have laid dormant as land masses but I've never seen something like this..."
He was absorbed in the reading for a little while, thumbing the papers over the other.
"Fascinating. Still...no mention of communicating with the originating worlds. I must assume that it is very close to impossible given the nature of the City itself. Huh," he said this more to himself than Beauty thus it was in English.
