Dinah noticed the little hint of excitement. Some people might have warned that he should be careful what he wished for, since he seemed eager for the fight. She wasn't some people. She probably understood more than most that life was easier in a way when you could focus on something to fight, on something tangible that could be done to help make the world a safer place.
"Maybe it does." She shrugged. "It's been quiet lately, hasn't it? That means that we're probably due for a little bit of crazy." She gave him a small smile.
She liked having a home here, but there was also a part of her that missed being able to wander the globe for missions. A part that missed moving every few years when the time came to shake things up or things in life changed or the places you lived suddenly held too many painful memories. And if it was hard for her, she could only imagine how it must be for Dean at times. He'd spent most of his life on the road and now that decision was taken out of his hands and he was stuck here. The City had its troubles, but there were only so many monsters that showed up and she was sure that there were times when he missed his world or at least missed the lifestyle back there.
