"It isn't..." Abe assured the doctor. "The jail and the asylum...they exude a presence that isn't calm in the least. That being said it also seems...in balance. It is as if--yes--yes, I would say that there is as much calm and peace as there is discord, of what I've dared stretch my abilities toward. When I close my eyes it is as if the city is painted in complimentary colors. It is very--yes--balanced. Like walls," he said pushing his hands together delicately, "leaning up against one another."
He tilted his head to the left.
"It is almost calming," he admitted as he had felt as such during his meditations.
