The sheer joy in response to her,answer left Dinah conflicted. Was Enigma better off not getting her memories back? In some ways, she seemed much happier. But knowing the truth... that would always be more important. Not that Dinah could affect things either way, unless she asked Jesse to interfere. Which she wouldn't. She couldn't run to the God every time she needed something.
"I've been here almost three years. This place has sort of become a home to me. I do miss people back home, but if I ended up there, there are people I'd miss here too."
She tried not to think about the fact that the City could send her or anyone else away at any time. She also tried not to think too much about those she'd left behind back home. She simply did her best to be grateful for who and what she had right now.
