"Relative to my peaceful nature," he said. "I am able to defend myself, but I wouldn't unless...threatened." He wasn't able to not indicate the other's gun with his glance to it. It was hard to hide a glance anyway with eyes so large.
He was much more able to defend himself since being away from the BPRD. Hellboy had been sure of that when he realized they were still going to be doing the same gig.
Abe sighed verbally at the nickname that just wouldn't go away, no matter what universe he ended up in. It was a conspiracy, he was sure.
"My name is Abraham. You may call me Abe. I came from, specifically, Kansas City, Missouri. That was where I was last, at least. My weapon was already drawn when I arrived. I was on a job and suddenly I was here. I imagine it was some sort of portal, spell..." he said beginning to tire of his hands being up in the air and fairly certain he wasn't getting shot, at least not fatally, he started to gesticulate, instead. He flared his fingers out as he ran through the possibilities.
"...or perhaps I went back in time somehow. Though this seems loosely modern," he said, taking in his surroundings. They had garnered a crowd. Abe frowned, as much as it was a difference from his normal face.
"Perhaps you could answer some questions for me?" he asked, trying his best not to look as uncomfortable as he felt with the stares.
