The man might have had a few things loose in his head, but Leto was grinning ear to ear despite it. "Got it," he said, when the litany of the man's passenger pre-requisites was finished.
"From the top," he agreed, turning his eyes back to Wash's navigation. With a little experimentation, Leto was sure he could fly this craft himself. He clamped down on the question about the few toggle switches lining the ceiling, and sat back in the co-pilot's chair.
"How long've you been here, Wash?" he asked. It was clear that Leto's newness had shown through in the greeting. He'd remember the shaking of hands for next time.
