Errol leaned over the counter, hiding his face in his hands. The tips of his ears were more than slightly red, and his shoulders shook with laughter. "You can feel free to stop that any time now," he said, somewhat muffled. "I'm sure you have a hobby that you're not exactly proud of."
He looked up at her, grinning to remove the sting of his words (and because it was a truly amusing situation, sting to his pride not withstanding) and was struck by how beautiful she looked, truly embodying her nickname. It was a pleasure enough to see her no longer haunted and frightened like she'd been recently, but this was... he lacked words.
