Bruce looked at the toy stegosaurus and smiled, "Mr. Plates. I like it."
His attention faltered from the girl to the pilot when he mentioned the City having something to do with the ship being unable to hit atmo. That made way too much sense and not enough at the same time. The look of confusion on Bruce's face probably spoke volumes to that.
Bruce turned to look at the display in front of the pilot's seat when Wash gathered his attention, mind trying to process what the pilot was saying to him.
The next part about the bubble, and some kind of barrier was disheartening. "So there isn't any escape for any of us." It sounded like a terrible fate knowing they were all completely trapped in some kind of bubble with a world inside of it.
He frowned and pulled back to process for a moment. "The arc reactor has power enough for ages. There's no failure there unless it somehow gets damaged. But I'm sure Tony has seen to protecting it as best as he can." There was no question about Tony's reactor. It could probably power the whole of the City for a very very long time without fail.
"I don't really know what to tell you regarding the barrier. I didn't know there was one, honestly but now that you mention it...it makes complete sense. I think you and Maxine would've been out of here a long time ago if it had been that easy. I wouldn't blame you."
