Fred wasn't ready for that explanation, and it took her a moment to think it through. She even chewed a little on her bottom lip in thought. Then came the aha smile. Oh, she didn't know the fix for the problem, but she at least had something to look for. Everyone would have someone to look for, and this was a very good thing.
"Oh, that's wonderful. Well, not wonderful, but that's good. Good to have a focus. Yes, it makes sense, mostly. It sounds more software than hardware, but that doesn't mean it's completely software. There might be something more at work or not at work." Her nose wrinkled.
"You're kind of great." She didn't jump as the kettle sounded. "See, it explains why the City can't just fix it. You'd think if it could do so much, it should be able to take care of itself. It's also a little nice to know it wasn't some sort of test." She nodded slightly, smiling.
"Right into the cup with teabag?" Her brow rose in question. "Yes? Then a saucer on top for steeping? Saw someone do that once." Fred nodded.
"Annie could look at things, just...can we? Will it be okay? We'd need access; I know a computer, computers actually, but I could get to them. Make the adjustments. I bet I could. Is that okay?" Fred looked at Beauty.
