"Broken, really broken." Fred leaned back, not at all minding that she might sound a little crazy. Her hands rested on her stomach as she stretched out a bit to give it a think. She took the liberty of putting her feet carefully on a bit of Annie's bed.
"You've got abilities that most people don't, so I'm going with you are a superhero." She wasn't arguing. It simply was as far as this particular brainy type was concerned. "You haven't noticed that time has been a little funkier than usual? I mean, sure it sometimes feels like we've been doing something for months and it's only be a few hours. Sometimes it feels like it's been just a few moments and days could pass. Life speeds up and down, and happens in all kinds of ways, but this is different. This is the sun not setting or not rising. That's not normal. Not for here. I'm wondering if the City shutting down completely didn't have something to do with it. I donno, but it could have. Not just the being human - that might have been where it all started. Or it might be unrelated. Just something's going on. The system isn't running right."
Fred shrugged. She didn't have more than that. "There's something clogging the works possibly."
