There were things in life that made sense, and things in life that made so much since that one didn't know how they hadn't just existed forever. That's what Charlie and Jen were like. They fit in a way that he'd not seen two people fit in his life. It was cemented by Jennifer's dive into the pool in her undergarments, not even asking if anybody would mind.
He laughed at the little bit of splashback he did get, and wiped off the little dots of water, looking at Jo.
"We can actually swim if you like, apparently we're not caring about swimsuits tonight." Ted said we, because he wanted Jo to feel more comfortable about it. He hadn't really intended on swimming, but if she wanted to, he would. He did like the pool.
And... well. It wasn't really the first time that he'd encountered a lack of swimwear in these waters. Girls Charlie used to bring home were very fond of swimming in very little or nothing at all. And didn't seem to mind when Ted appeared out of nowhere and discovered them. On his end, he'd be embarrassed enough for the both of them.
