When the kiss was broken, Edward pulled back and shrugged. "You don't have to apologize, baby. But they're just nightmares. She can't hurt you." Nobody could. Not without hurting Eddie first.
Edward did notice the shift in Voice. The accent Jonathan had worked do hard to conceal was almost flooding from his mouth as if he'd never abandoned it.
At the sight of the bird, and Jonathan's scream, Eddie made a face and curled his arms tight around Jonathan to offer security and support.
"It's just a crow and its only here for scraps. You're going to be just fine."
