When Jonathan moved closer, Eddie beamed inwardly. He turned his head and pressed a gentle kiss against the swell of Jonathan's cheek. He was grateful, in a way, that Jonathan put up with him. Eddie was more than aware how he could be sometimes, and perhaps his fear was what drove him to make sure Jonathan was satisfied in every aspect of his life.
Eddie pulled back, only to look up when the slobber from the apple the horse was chewing dripped down the front of his shirt. "Gross..." Eddie breathed, but held his temper. Nightmare didn't know any better.
He didn't relinquish his hold on Jonathan, despite the horse dribble, only holding him closer.
