Luckily for both of them, Dinah had a sex drive to rival Dean's. She could even understand the need to sometimes lose yourself in the physicality of a relationship, to grab onto something that blocked everything else out for awhile.
She returned the kiss with equal intensity, but softened once it was done. She ran her thumb down the sude of his face while her other arm wrapped around his midsection and held on.
"I'm sorry. I'd hoped that the truce would keep people safe and buy us time to figure out our next move. After all, hpw do you kill a vampire who keeps developing immunity to things like sunlight?"
She was at a loss here. Even after over two years in the City, vampires weren't her area of expertise. And even though they fell under Dean's usual wheelhouse, this vampire was very different. Something had to be done, but she didn't know what.
There was the usual guilt about failing to protect someone. There was also sorrow for what Dean had lost.
