"I certainly don't see any connection." Jennifer lost hope about that factor. There was no connection between any of them. Even if they'd known each other, there still wasn't any pattern. Especially when you threw the green guy and the cat into the mix.
She sighed and sank into the chair that had come with the desk and the office. The chair she had to assume was hers. It squeaked. The chair would have to go.
"This is my first case." She said, just in case it hadn't been clear before.
Then something hit her. And sort of hard, at that. "Vampires?" That couldn't have been what Zoe actually said. "You have got to be fucking kidding me."
