"You could, might do me some good." Zoe gave him a weak smile, following him out of the kitchen, away from the mess she'd created. Zoe was quite the cook, but she'd rarely fostered that gift on Serenity - there just wasn't time or goods. Now, she had so much time and food stuffs, she didn't always know what to do with it.
"He's in Serenity. He's taking people there. He's living there. He wants to make her fly." She pulled her hand free, needing movement, and she wasn't going to get what she needed sitting down. She wanted to hit something, yet she wanted to avoid violence. Violence was not the answer to everything, and while she was damn good at it, she didn't want to rely on it.
She started pacing, touching this trinket or that the City had given her. Each piece held a hint of her past, many's future, but nothing was hard linked to Serenity. It was just a decor that felt more natural.
"He put a child on Serenity." She'd yet to call it her ship. Even though she'd done that easily with Wash, at the moment, she didn't feel like she deserved Serenity. Mal would have hated her for what she'd let happen to the old girl.
"He didn't want children, and now he's got a gorram child on Serenity. He's had others on it. You've been on it. They're helping him. He wants me to be happy for him on the same piece of goshe that took his life! He wants me to accept this!" Her hand moved as if to indicate everything, or just the situation. A situation she did not like at all.
